Job Duties

• Cultivate Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and craft tailored therapy approaches to aid their journey towards achieving functional achievements.

• Collaborate with Multi-disciplinary Teams: Work in tandem with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver thorough, patient-centered care.
• Instruct Patients and Their Families: Guide patients and caregivers in therapeutic practices to support continued progress at home.
• Evaluate and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify therapy plans accordingly to keep patients on track.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active participation in continuing education or post-graduate certifications is encouraged and supported.

Licensure/Certifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license is required.
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is essential.
