Aircraft Systems Installer

Aircraft Systems Mechanic Location: Wichita, KS Pay: $45.00 per hour Active Secret Clearance Required Job Description We are seeking Systems Mechanics to support the production of advanced military aircraft. This role focuses primarily on aircraft wiring, harness installation, wire terminations, and system assembly, with opportunities to gain experience in structural assembly, hydraulic systems, and fuel system installations. Key Responsibilities Perform wire harness assembly and aircraft wiring installations Complete wire terminations, connector installations, splicing, and wire routing Install and support avionics-related wiring and components Assist with hydraulic line and fuel line installations Perform basic structural assembly and riveting as needed Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions Follow all quality, safety, and production requirements Essential Skills Minimum 2 years of aerospace manufacturing or aircraft assembly experience Experience with wire harness assembly, wire routing, and terminations Experience installing connectors, performing crimping, and wire splicing Familiarity with aircraft assembly and mechanical installation processes Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation Active Secret Clearance required Ability to work overtime and support multiple shifts as needed Additional Qualifications Experience with avionics wiring and component installation Hydraulic or fuel system installation experience is a plus Riveting or aircraft structural assembly experience preferred Comfortable using hand and power tools Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Work Environment Work is performed in a large aerospace manufacturing facility supporting military aircraft production. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $45.00/hr.
