Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (Varies) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within a Labor and Delivery unit throughout all stages of the labor and delivery process
• Monitor maternal and fetal status using continuous fetal heart monitoring and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes within the Cerner electronic health record system
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and established clinical protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Labor and Delivery
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Fetal Heart Monitoring certification
• AWHONN certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Proficiency with Cerner electronic health record system
• Experience in a high-volume Labor and Delivery setting
