Mechanical Assembler in York, PAFirst Shift: 8a-4:30pPay: $20/hour

Assemble hydraulic valves—both on‑off and proportional types—for machinery. You’ll manage daily assigned projects, select correct components, perform mechanical assembly, and complete quality testing to ensure every product meets performance standards.

• Assemble hydraulic valves (on‑off & proportional).
• Review daily project assignments and complete them accurately and on schedule.
• Pick and organize correct parts using measurements and component specs.
• Perform small‑part mechanical assembly using hand tools and power drills.
• Follow schematics, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Test assembled valves using machines for scratch resistance, heat resistance, and performance checks.
• Maintain consistent quality during repetitive assembly tasks.
• Inspect finished components for accuracy, measurements, and functionality.
• Keep a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Work collaboratively with a small team and follow supervisor direction.

• Mechanical assembly experience in manufacturing or production.
• Skilled with hand tools, power tools, and power drills.
• Ability to read/interpret schematics and blueprints.
• Experience with basic product testing and durability checks.
• Strong attention to detail and measurement accuracy.
• Comfortable with repetitive, precision‑focused work.

• Small‑part assembly experience.
• Familiarity with hydraulic systems or valve components.
• Ability to follow written and visual instructions.
• Able to work independently while supporting a small team.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, PA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
