Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA)

Earn $20 to $30.75 an hour as a per diem Certified Home Health Aide with UMC HomeWorks. Pick up shifts on your own schedule, days, evenings, or night

As a CHHA with our HomeWorks division, you'll help seniors stay safe, independent, and cared for in their own homes across Sussex, Morris, Warren, Bergen, Passaic, Essex, Hudson, and Union counties.

What You'll Do:

• Help clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care
• Prepare meals, assist with feeding, and do light housekeeping
• Check and record vital signs, and tell the nursing team about any changes you notice
• Remind clients to take medications on schedule
• Drive clients to appointments and run essential errands
• Provide companionship and keep clients socially engaged

What You'll Need:

Required:

• Current, active New Jersey CHHA certification
• High school diploma or GED
• 18 years of age or older
• Able to read, write, and speak English, needed to report changes to the nursing team and follow care plans safely

Preferred:

• Prior home care or caregiving experience

Pay and Benefits:

• $20 to $30.75 per hour, rate based on shift and day of the week
• $500 referral bonus for every CHHA you refer who gets hired
• Mileage reimbursement for travel between client visits

Schedule:
Per diem. Days, evenings, and nights offered, including flexible scheduling.
