Salary: Up to $85,000 per year
Full-Time

Glengariff Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Dietitian (RD) to join our interdisciplinary team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional who is passionate about improving the health and well-being of residents through exceptional nutritional care.

The Registered Dietitian will be responsible for assessing residents' nutritional needs, developing individualized care plans, and ensuring compliance with all federal and state regulations related to dietary services.

• Complete comprehensive nutritional assessments for residents upon admission and as needed.

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans.

• Provide recommendations for therapeutic diets and nutritional interventions.

• Monitor residents' weight, laboratory values, and nutritional status.

• Participate in care plan meetings and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.

• Educate residents, families, and staff on nutrition-related topics.

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and survey requirements.

• Conduct routine audits and maintain accurate documentation in the medical record.

• Collaborate with the Food Service Department to ensure menu compliance and resident satisfaction.

• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.

• Current Registered Dietitian (RD) credentials and registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).

• Licensed Dietitian status in the State of New York, if applicable.

• Previous experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility, Rehabilitation Center, Long-Term Care, or healthcare setting preferred.

• Strong knowledge of clinical nutrition, therapeutic diets, and long-term care regulations.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.

• Salary up to $90,000 per year
