Site Superintendent

Chesapeake Search Partners is happy to partner with a leading Residential Construction Group in the search for an experienced Site Superintendent to join their growing team. What You'll Do As the Site Superintendent, you'll oversee day-to-day field operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You'll serve as the primary on-site leader, coordinating subcontractors, managing schedules, maintaining quality control, and fostering clear communication between project stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Lead all daily job site operations from project start through completion. Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and material deliveries to maintain project schedules. Ensure all work complies with plans, specifications, and quality standards. Monitor and enforce OSHA and company safety requirements. Conduct regular site inspections and manage quality control efforts. Collaborate with Project Managers on RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project updates. Coordinate municipal and third-party inspections. Maintain accurate daily reports and project documentation. Lead subcontractor meetings and proactively resolve field issues. Assist with punch list completion and project closeout activities. What We're Looking For Proven experience as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects. Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and project coordination. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail. Experience working with subcontractors, inspectors, and project teams.
