QA Lead

We are looking for an experienced Quality Engineering Lead for our client in the healthcare industry. What you will do: Lead the transformation of QA practices from a predominantly manual approach to a modern, automation-first quality engineering culture. Rebuild and optimize existing test automation suites, ensuring reliability, scalability, and seamless integration with CI/CD pipelines. Introduce modern testing practices, frameworks, and AI-powered solutions to improve efficiency and quality outcomes. Define and execute a clear QA roadmap, driving measurable improvements across processes, tooling, and automation coverage. Balance competing priorities and effectively manage stakeholder expectations to keep the team focused on high-impact initiatives. Provide hands-on technical leadership through code reviews, mentoring, and coaching QA engineers. What we are looking for: Strong software engineering fundamentals, including OOP, design patterns, clean code principles, and maintainable architecture. Extensive hands-on experience building and scaling test automation frameworks using tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or Appium. Proficiency in at least one modern programming language, such as Python, TypeScript, or Java. Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD workflows and modern software development processes. Practical knowledge of AI-driven testing solutions, including automated test generation, self-healing tests, and intelligent reporting. Proven experience leading QA teams and driving quality transformation initiatives. Strong prioritization and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to challenge requests that do not align with strategic objectives.
