This role will primarily involve working in the Psychiatric Emergency Department, providing critical nursing care to patients in need. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency department setting. Assess and monitor patient conditions, providing timely interventions. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans. Assist with medical emergencies, including STEMI and stroke cases. Provide support to special care populations, including those with cancer, sepsis, and behavioral health needs. Utilize electronic health record systems for patient documentation (EPIC required). Schedule This position offers a day shift schedule consisting of three 12-hour shifts, typically from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. Occasional shifts may be required during the evening and overnight hours, along with extended coverage for weekends and holidays as needed. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required. Experience with emergency care settings preferred. Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIH, and PALS.
