UW Medical Center - Northwest -Pelvic Health (location: Northwest campus) has an outstanding opportunity for a Patient Services Specialist 2.

WORK SCHEDULE

• Full-time, 100% FTE (40 hours per week)

• On-site/Day Shift/ Mondays- Fridays/ 8:00am- 4:30pm

• No Telework

• This is a Fixed Duration Assignment ( Three to Six Months from date of hire)

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Providing staff, providers, and patients with an efficient system of internal and external communications, including phone answering and call triaging

• Scheduling provider and ancillary service appointments

• Obtaining patient demographic, financial, and clinical information

• Partnering with all members of the clinic team to prioritize patient satisfaction and exceptional care delivery

• Other duties as requested

REQUIREMENTS

• High school graduation or equivalent AND

• One year of healthcare, administrative, or customer service experience

• OR

• An equivalent combination of education/experience

• Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration
