This role involves providing high-quality care in a mixed acuity unit with a comprehensive stroke care focus. Key Responsibilities of the RN - PCU - Travel

• Conduct neuro assessments and perform phlebotomy tasks
• Analyze EKG rhythms and manage NG/Dobhoff placements
• Access ports and administer heparin gtt and Argatroban
• Coordinate with CNAs, shift coordinators, and hospitalists to deliver patient care
• Utilize and manage various technology including EMR, IV pumps, and monitors

Requirements of the RN - PCU - Travel

• Valid RN License
• NIHSS and BLS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Skills in neuro assessment, phlebotomy, and EKG rhythm analysis
