Part-time AP Specialist

Job ID : 25802 Pay Rate : $26 – $30 Per HR Location : Onsite in Seattle, WA Employment Type : Contract Schedule : Part-Time As the Accounts Payable Specialist , you will support day-to-day accounting operations by processing invoices and payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with reconciliations and month-end activities. You will work closely with internal teams and vendors to resolve discrepancies, ensure timely payments, and support accurate financial reporting while following established accounting procedures and internal controls. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Process accounts payable checks, invoices, and supporting documentation. Review and process monthly corporate credit card statements. Maintain organized vendor records and payment files. Reconcile and process petty cash transactions. Assist with accounts receivable activities as needed. Support monthly bank reconciliations and month-end close activities. Prepare and distribute budget reports to department managers. Assist with monthly payroll processing and related administrative tasks. Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely processing of transactions. Provide general accounting support as needed. Other duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. Previous experience in accounts payable, accounting, or a similar financial support role. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other standard office software. Experience with accounting or ERP systems preferred. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal teams and vendors.
