Locums OBGYN Physician

We are seeking a Locums OB/GYN Physician to provide clinic and procedural coverage in Alpena, Michigan. This opportunity offers a consistent weekday clinic schedule, a manageable patient volume, and support from an experienced clinical team.
Schedule
Monday–Thursday: 7:30 AM–4:30 PM
Friday: 7:30 AM–12:00 PM
Clinic Volume: Approximately 2 patients per hour, depending on appointment length
Clinical Support
Three nurses scheduled per shift
A midwife will be available beginning in September to assist with call coverage
Procedures & Responsibilities
The physician will provide comprehensive OB/GYN care and perform procedures including:
Suction D&C
Laparoscopy
Reading and interpreting NSTs
Cesarean sections
Circumcisions
Tubal ligations
Additional Details
EMR/Dictation: Epic and Dragon
Requirements
Board Certified or Board Eligible, with certification required within 5 years
Current AC LS, BLS, and PALS certifications
Recent case logs demonstrating:
At least 50 deliveries within the past 12 months
At least 25 GYN procedures within the past 12 months
Michigan license preferred
Candidates participating in the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) will be considered
