Health Unit Coordinator As a Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) for the CentraCare Monticello Emergency Department, you serve a vital role in being the communication link for the unit. Responsibilities will include greeting and assisting patients/families, guests, and providers as well as managing telephone communications, organizing and maintaining patient charts, and performing clerical and receptionist duties to support patient care. Schedule: Part-time | 60 hours every two weeks | Onsite Night shift | 12-hour shift 7pm-7:30am Every 3rd weekend and rotating holidays Pay and Benefits: Starting pay begins at $19.42 per hour and increases with experience Pay range: $19.42-29.39 per hour Benefits: Medical, dental, PTO, retirement, employee discounts and more! Qualifications: One year completion of a hospital unit secretary program (or willingness to obtain within one (1) year of employment) preferred. One-year clerical experience in a healthcare setting preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred. Strong customer service skills.
