About the Position Assistant Manager As a future leader of Midas, the Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager to ensure each Midas retail location operates efficiently, safely and effectively. Using fundamental leadership skills, Assistant Managers enforce established policies, procedures and standards, schedule mechanics/technicians work, manage outside orders, ensure quality and timely completion of jobs, meet customer expectations, and keep team members safe. Service Manager The Service Manager assists customers with tire selections and recommends necessary under‑car repair services. They ensure complete customer satisfaction by delivering timely, high‑quality vehicle repair and maintenance, directing workflow of Mechanics, Alignment Technicians and Tire Technicians, staging vehicle repair/maintenance work. While driving the sales initiatives of Midas, Service Managers communicate directly with customers, assess needs, provide repair information, and strive to meet expectations. What We’re Looking For Experience: At least 2 years of experience/training in automotive parts and/or tire sales, or a relevant combination of education, training and experience. Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S. Physical Ability: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift/move items weighing over 50 pounds.
