Description JOB TITLE Student Intern
SUMMARY: Perform a variety of tasks under direct supervision. Second practicum Masters level students may be able to provide client care under direct supervision. Students are required to provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) demonstrating they have personal malpractice coverage that spans the time of internship and includes Frontier Health as an additional insured on the policy. Please consult with your placement advisor.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Education: High School Diploma, BS Degree or MS Degree Licensure: N/A Certification: N/A Experience: Experience appropriate to current degree or degree in process. Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge and skills appropriate to current degree or degree in process. EQUIPMENT: Computer, fax, copier and any other equipment required to perform the functions of the position. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Maintain daily appointment schedules, type and distribute correspondence, memorandums, reports and grant applications. 2. Creates graphics for various reports (outcomes reports, monthly report card, incident reports, etc.) 3. Handles office telephone calls. 4. Responsible for generating and distribution of in-house reports. 5. Maintain physician schedules for all outpatient sites. 6. Maintain monthly case management insurance/vehicle list. 7. Perform other related duties such as greeting visitors, correspondence with outside groups, agencies and individuals. 8. Attend and participate in regularly scheduled staff meetings and in=services and individual program planning staffings as needed. 9. All other duties as assigned. PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES : Although each position has its own unique duties and responsibilities, the following listing applies to every employee. Exercise necessary cost control measures. 3. Maintain positive internal and external customer service relationships. 4. Plan and organize work effectively and ensure its completion. 6. Demonstrate reliability by arriving to work on time and utilizing effective time management. 7. Meet all productivity requirements. 8. Demonstrate team behavior and must be willing to promote a team-oriented environment. 9. Represent the organization professionally at all times. 10. Demonstrate initiative and strive to continually improve processes and relationships. 11. Follow all Frontier Health rules, policies and procedures as well as any applicable laws and standards.
