Lead Teller

Position Overview As Lead Teller within PNC's Retail Branch organization, positioned in Southfield, MI, you will coach, mentor, and lead tellers by example to deliver a unique customer experience aimed at improving customer financial wellbeing, creating loyalty, and increasing share of wallet. You will process a variety of customer interactions, educate customers on alternatives available for their financial interactions, identify banking opportunities, perform lobby engagement activities, and ensure teller and branch daily operations are completed efficiently and accurately. Job Responsibilities Coach, mentor, and lead tellers by example to deliver a unique customer experience aimed at improving customer financial wellbeing and creating loyalty while increasing share of wallet. Process a variety of customer interactions; educate customers on alternatives available for their financial interactions; identify banking opportunities and refer as appropriate. Engage with customers in the lobby to connect and position PNC products to meet their needs; educate customers on options for managing financial transactions by leveraging technology, tools, and resources. Communicate clearly, handle transactions, and resolve problems; assist the Branch Manager in performance management and new hire selection processes. Adhere to all policies and procedures, demonstrate sound judgment within established limits; assist in daily operations and maintain transaction accuracy. Qualifications Customer Focused: Knowledgeable of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions; able to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions. Managing Risk: Assess and effectively manage all risks associated with business objectives and activities to ensure adherence to and support of PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
