This position is ideal for an RN who is passionate about resident care planning and compliance, with strong organizational and assessment skills.What We Offer:Daily Pay - Access your earnings when you need themCompetitive pay based on experience/sign on bonusFull-time position with PTOHealth, dental, and vision insurance for full-time employeesClean, well-equipped environmentComfortable staffing ratiosSupportive leadership and a strong interdisciplinary teamPosition Overview:As the MDS Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all MDS assessments. You will help drive care plan development, quality outcomes, and compliance with federal and state guidelines.Key Responsibilities:Complete MDS assessments for admissions, annuals, quarterlies, and significant changesConduct risk assessments (Braden, fall risk, incontinence, etc.) and CAAs as requiredDevelop and update resident care plans in coordination with the clinical teamParticipate in care plan meetings, standard of care reviews, and quality assurance programsOversee documentation accuracy and provide staff training on MDS-related processesMaintain Medicare and HMO documentation, including ABNs and certificationsCollaborate with therapy, nursing, and billing departments on PPS and schedulingAssist with audit prep and participate in survey processesQualifications:Must be a graduate of an approved RN programCurrent RN license in the state of ArkansasExperience in MDS coordination and RAI process preferredStrong understanding of long-term care regulations and documentation standardsExcellent communication and organizational skillsWillingness to participate in training, QA programs, and interdisciplinary collaborationAt The Springs of, we believe in supporting our staff with the tools, training, and resources needed to do their jobs with excellence.
