Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, where you will monitor entry points, verify access, conduct routine patrols, and help deter incidents through a visible presence. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $20.25 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct authorized personnel in accordance with site requirements. Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels. Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, facilities, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or policy concerns. Complete accurate reports, maintain required documentation, and communicate observations and incidents to site leadership and Allied Universal management. Minimum Requirements: At least one year of security-related experience is required. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
