The Licensing and Compliance Training Manager owns Efinity Mortgage's company, branch, and individual Loan Officer licensing Administration and the Company's compliance training program. The position maintains a complete licensing calendar, coordinates filings and renewals, monitors NMLS and state requirements, supports new-hire and branch onboarding, and ensures that required training is assigned, completed, documented, and examination-ready. 

This role works closely with Compliance, Human Resources, Recruiting, Operations, Finance, branch leadership, and the Executive Office. The manager is expected to anticipate deadlines, identify regulatory or operational risks, communicate issues early, and build repeatable processes that support Efinity's continued growth. 

$70,000 - $75,000 yearly

• Licensing program ownership:  Own and maintain the master licensing program for Efinity Mortgage, its branch locations, and its licensed mortgage loan originators across all applicable jurisdictions. 

• Company and branch licensing:  Coordinate company and branch applications, renewals, amendments, address changes, qualifying individual requirements, trade names, closures, bonds, registered agents, and related regulatory filings. 

• Loan Officer licensing:  Manage LO applications, sponsorships, renewals, continuing education, fingerprints, background checks, disclosures, terminations, and license-status changes through NMLS and applicable state systems. 

• Licensing calendar and controls:  Maintain a centralized calendar of deadlines, fees, documents, owners, submission dates, approvals, deficiencies, and follow-up items. Provide advance notice and escalate risks before a deadline is threatened. 

• New hire and branch onboarding:  Partner with Recruiting, HR, Compliance, and branch leadership to confirm licensing readiness before an LO begins regulated activity or a new branch begins operating. 

• Compliance training administration:  Develop and administer the annual compliance training calendar; coordinate Compliance-approved content; assign courses; track completion, testing, and attestations; and follow up on overdue requirements. 

• Training records and reporting:  Maintain complete training records by employee and subject, prepare monthly status reports, and provide examination-ready documentation for internal reviews and regulatory requests. 

• Regulatory monitoring and examinations:  Monitor licensing communications and NMLS deficiencies, coordinate responses with Compliance, and support state examinations, audits, and document requests. 

• Process improvement:  Create written procedures, checklists, templates, and automated tracking tools that improve accuracy, visibility, and efficiency. 

• Communication and service:  Serve as a responsive resource to Loan Officers, branch managers, department heads, and regulators while protecting confidential employee and company information. 

• Three or more years of mortgage licensing, regulatory compliance, compliance training, or comparable regulated-industry experience.

• Working knowledge of NMLS and state mortgage licensing processes is strongly preferred. 

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple jurisdictions, deadlines, confidential records, and cross-functional stakeholders. 

• Strong written communication, follow-through, organization, judgment, and attention to detail. 

• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and the ability to learn licensing, learning management, and workflow systems.
