Respiratory Therapist And Nurse PositionWe are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist and Nurses to join our Respiratory Therapy Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing respiratory care to residents in a long term care setting, with a focus on geriatrics. This position will be at Persimmon Ridge Rehabilitation Centre in Portland, Indiana. Previous ventilator and Tracheostomy experience is a plus, but NOT required. We are happy to train you on site! Responsibilities include: performing patient assessments and developing individualized care plans, administering and documenting respiratory treatments as prescribed by physicians, monitoring and recording vital signs, educating patients and their families on respiratory care techniques and disease management, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive resident care, and responding to emergency situations and providing basic life support as needed. Requirements include: certified RRT, CRT, RCP, RN or LPN, current Indiana Respiratory Therapist license preferred, knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology, and basic life support certification required.
