Essential Functions

1. Perform any other general duties as deemed necessary by the shift manager.
2. The associate will also be responsible for:
   • Arrive early enough to store all their personal items in their assigned locker. Food items may be stored in the refrigerator outside the break area.
   • Punch in no earlier than 15 minutes prior to the beginning of their assigned shift and no later than 5 minutes prior to the beginning of their assigned shift and punch out no earlier than the shift will end.
   • Attend the pre-shift safety meeting.
   • Wear their assigned PPE in the designated areas and when performing specific tasks throughout the shift.
   • Follow all safety rules to ensure the safety of themselves and those around them.
   • Report to their assigned work area and begin work immediately following the pre-shift safety/information meeting.
   • Must remain in good standing with attendance.

Position Responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting, repairing, installing, maintaining & modifying production & facility equipment.

• Ability to work on Electrical, Mechanical, Pneumatics, Hydraulics & PLCs / microprocessor control systems
• Must have the ability to multi-task & prioritize
• Must be able to work flexible hours, if required

• The ability to communicate at all levels
• Practice safe work habits
• The ability to climb ladders up to 25 feet high
• Securely work on rooftops 25 feet off the ground level
• Troubleshooting plumbing issues within the plant
• Operate forklifts
• Operate scissor lift

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, sit, walk, stand, and hear. This employee may be required to reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch and occasionally lift up to 50 Ibs. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus. May be exposed to heat, flame, chemicals, and noises.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4 p.m. Weekends, overtime and on-call hours may be required as job duties demand.

Required Education and Experience

• Certification/diploma from an accredited technical institution in Industrial Maintenance or Industrial Electronic Technology or equivalent is required.
• Ten+ years of relevant experience would also be considered
• Must be able to work independently and with a team
• Attention to detail is a MUST with this job
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Reading, writing and math skills are required

Preferred Education and Experience

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in Manufacturing.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in Maintenance.
