Senior Program Manager, Enterprise Integration (M&A)

This role leads day‑to‑day execution of Karman’s mergers‑and‑acquisitions (M\&A) integration portfolio, converting enterprise integration strategy and priorities into coordinated plans spanning diligence, pre‑close readiness, Day 1 execution, stabilization, target‑state integration, and transition to steady‑state operations. The Senior Program Manager partners across Finance, Human Resources, Legal, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Business Systems, Data, and site leadership to drive alignment, maintain governance, manage dependencies, and ensure risks and decisions are surfaced with clear business impact and recommended actions.

Responsibilities

• Leads execution of the enterprise M\&A integration roadmap across multiple concurrent acquisitions, entities, and functional workstreams.
• Translates integration strategy, priorities, and governance requirements into integrated program plans with milestones, workstreams, dependencies, and readiness criteria.
• Coordinates acquisition integration across business functions, Information Technology, site leadership, vendors, and external advisors.
• Maintains integrated plans spanning diligence, pre‑close readiness, Day 1, stabilization, target‑state integration, and transition to steady‑state operations.
• Runs integration governance including workstream reviews, milestone tracking, RAID management, dependency management, and executive reporting.
• Drives accountability by ensuring functional owners maintain clear deliverables, dates, resource requirements, dependencies, risks, and escalation paths.
• Identifies resource conflicts, critical‑path dependencies, and integration risks, coordinating mitigation plans with functional leaders.
• Supports due diligence by coordinating functional assessments, documenting assumptions, identifying risks, and developing executable plans.
• Leads Day 1 and operational‑readiness planning across people, process, technology, compliance, customer, supplier, and site requirements.
• Coordinates technology integration including enterprise resource planning (ERP), infrastructure, identity and access management (IAM), cybersecurity, data migration, and site onboarding.
• Prepares executive‑ready reporting on integration health, milestone performance, risks, dependencies, decisions, and progress toward business outcomes.
• Tracks integration costs, benefit assumptions, risk reduction, operational improvements, and value realization in partnership with Finance and functional leaders.
• Applies and improves Integration Management Office (IMO) standards, playbooks, governance gates, templates, readiness criteria, and repeatable integration practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, information technology, engineering, operations, finance, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in program management, M\&A integration, enterprise transformation, or related disciplines.
• Track record of independently leading complex cross‑functional programs involving multiple business functions, sites, vendors, and executive stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience supporting or leading post‑merger integration, acquisition integration, entity restructuring, enterprise transformation, or similar large‑scale initiatives.
• Experience managing integrated program plans, roadmaps, dependency maps, RAID logs, readiness assessments, governance cadences, and executive reporting.
• Proven ability to lead through influence and drive accountability across functional teams without direct authority.
• Strong understanding of M\&A integration lifecycles including diligence, Day 1 readiness, target‑state integration, and transition to operations.
• Strong business and financial acumen including integration costs, business cases, resource planning, investment trade‑offs, and value realization.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder‑management, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities in ambiguity.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace, defense, manufacturing, engineering, or another regulated multi‑site environment.
• Experience working within an Integration Management Office (IMO), enterprise program‑management office, transformation office, or similar centralized program‑management function.
• Experience managing multiple acquisition or integration programs concurrently in a high‑growth, acquisitive, or private‑equity‑backed organization.
• Experience with M\&A technology integration involving enterprise resource planning (ERP), infrastructure, cybersecurity, identity and access management (IAM), data, reporting, vendors, and site onboarding.
• Familiarity with Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC), National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) 800‑171, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), controlled unclassified information (CUI), Sarbanes‑Oxley (SOX) IT general controls (ITGC), export controls, or other compliance‑driven operating environments.
• Familiarity with Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, Planview, Power BI, or similar project and portfolio‑management tools.
• Project Management Professional (PMP), Program Management Professional (PgMP), Lean Six Sigma, Prosci, Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI‑ACP), or related certification.
