Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Job Summary: At Absolut Care of Allegany, we are committed to providing compassionate and innovative care to our patients. Up to 30 hours per week. As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in our interdisciplinary team, working closely with occupational therapists to design and implement patient-centered interventions. Responsibilities: Assist occupational therapists in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for patients with various physical, cognitive, and emotional disabilities Conduct occupational therapy sessions, including but not limited to, activities of daily living, mobility, and cognitive skills training Utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches, including but not limited to, adaptive equipment, assistive technology, and environmental modifications Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care Document patient progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with agency policies and regulations Participate in treatment team meetings to discuss patient progress and develop new treatment plans About the Role: As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with Absolut Care of Allegany, you will have the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility, utilizing the latest technology and evidence-based practices to drive patient outcomes.
