Job Description As a Security Guard - Security Monitoring Officer in Tempe, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, location‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and document observations and actions in accordance with site protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions. Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, assist with access control procedures, and communicate with site contacts and/or local responders as needed during security‑related events. Support a professional environment by providing directions, reporting hazards or maintenance concerns, and following post orders related to patient privacy, visitor management, and after‑hours activity. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 6 months of security‑related experience. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
