As our Closing Coordinator, you'll partner with the Director, REO Operations, and Sr. Closing Specialist to serve as the subject matter expert for closing matters within our REO Title & Closing function, overseeing the closing agent network and ensuring assigned assets under contract close on time and in compliance. Who Develops You: Director, REO Operations What You're Great At: You're detail-oriented and comfortable reading dense closing and lender documents - HUD-1 settlement statements, deeds, and everything in between. You know your way around HOA and property tax prorations, and you can process a high volume of cancellations and extensions without losing track of a single file. You stay ahead of upcoming and delinquent closing dates, communicate clearly under pressure, and handle client and closing-agent escalations with professionalism. You're organized, a strong multitasker, and a team player who thrives on meeting strict timelines. What You'll Do: Oversee the closing agent network and monitor all assets under contract in assigned states to ensure closing dates remain within client-guideline compliance Read and interpret closing and lender documents, including HUD-1 settlement statements and deeds Process a high volume of contract cancellations and extensions Monitor upcoming and delinquent closing dates to ensure timely closings Apply HOA and property tax knowledge to review prorations on settlement statements Address escalations from clients, closing agents, or other staff professionally and in a timely manner Ensure compliance with client-defined audit requirements for both internal and external audits Participate in closing meetings with closing agents and firms, providing guidance on the closing process Other duties as assigned Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED 3-5 years of relevant prior work experience (closing, title, escrow, REO/asset management, or related transaction coordination preferred) Attention to detail Proficient in Excel Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills Effective communication skills, including the ability to respond to a high volume of emails Team player who is organized and able to meet strict timelines Salary : $28/hour Why PLACE: We believe people do their best work when they're trusted, supported, and surrounded by others who are equally driven.
