This role is responsible for driving territory sales, account growth, customer retention, and customer satisfaction while managing a portfolio of commercial and residential customers. The Account Manager will build strong customer relationships, identify repair and renewal opportunities, and partner with internal teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience. **On a Typical Day You Will:*** Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial customer accounts, building strong relationships that drive **sales growth, customer retention, and long-term satisfaction**.* Prospect for new opportunities and achieve or exceed **territory sales and margin objectives** while serving as a trusted sales resource to customers.* Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing updates on service activity, repairs, equipment status, and customer requests.* Conduct regular customer meetings, both virtually and in person, throughout the **San Diego territory**.* Identify **renewal, repair, and account expansion opportunities** within the existing customer base.* Conduct sales planning and customer needs assessments to prioritize account growth and retention opportunities.* Coordinate with customers, building teams, third-party vendors, and internal Operations teams to support service delivery and resolve customer concerns.* Assist customers with billing inquiries, invoice corrections, and account-related questions.* Partner with the branch business development sales team to identify additional **business development and sales opportunities**.* Communicate customer feedback, competitive insights, and market trends internally to help strengthen solutions and sales strategies.* Maintain an accurate **CRM sales pipeline**, track opportunities, and provide timely sales forecasts.**What You Will Need to Be Successful:*** Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience required.* 3–4+ years of **outside sales, account management, or related customer-facing sales experience** preferred.* Strong customer relationship management skills with a focus on **customer satisfaction, retention, and account growth**.* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external customers.* Ability to succeed in a highly collaborative, team-oriented, and dynamic environment.* Self-motivated with strong **time management, organizational, and prioritization skills** and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.* Goal-oriented with strong leadership and problem-solving skills.* Comfortable working in a technical environment and utilizing Microsoft-based computer software. **Work Authorization:**Given the nature of the position, Otis Elevator does not support sponsorship, e.g. H-1B or TN petitions/applications, for this position.**Benefits:**Otis currently provides our colleagues with the following benefits:* 401(k) plan that includes generous company match and a separate automatic retirement contribution* Comprehensive medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage for colleagues and their eligible dependents, beginning on their first day of employment* Three weeks paid vacation and paid company holidays* Paid sick leave - Employee assistance and wellness incentive programs* Life insurance and disability coverage* Voluntary benefits, such as legal, pet, home, and auto insurance* Birth/adoption and parental leave benefits* Adoption assistance* Tuition reimbursement program* Peer recognition and service anniversary awards, as well as spot performance bonus opportunities **Salary Transparency:**The salary range for this role is $75,000 to $95,000 plus generous incentive structure. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may change in the future.
