Agent in Training Turn Your Sales Skills Into a Long-Term Career Farmers Insurance | Justin Price Agency | Jonesville, MI The Justin Price Agency is looking for a motivated, goal-oriented Agent in Training to join our Farmers Insurance agency in Jonesville. This opportunity is designed for someone who enjoys working with people, is motivated by results, and wants a career with room to grow. You'll receive hands-on training and mentorship while developing the sales, insurance, and relationship-building skills needed to succeed in the industry. Previous insurance experience is a plus, but it is not required. If you have experience in sales, customer service, retail, hospitality, banking, automotive, or another people-focused environment, we encourage you to apply. What You'll Be Doing Connect with prospective customers through leads, referrals, phone outreach, and networking Learn about each customer's situation and recommend insurance options that fit their needs Quote and sell Auto, Home, Life, Business, and other insurance products Follow up consistently with prospective customers and maintain an active sales pipeline Build relationships with new and existing clients Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional products and coverage Work toward individual and agency sales goals Maintain accurate lead and customer information using agency systems Participate in ongoing sales coaching, product training, and professional development What We're Looking For Previous sales, customer service, or insurance experience preferred Strong communication and people skills Comfortable talking with new people over the phone and in person Motivated by goals and performance-based earning potential Persistent and able to stay motivated through rejection Coachable, adaptable, and willing to learn Strong organization and follow-up skills Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health licensing is preferred, or willingness to obtain the required licensing Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply Grow Beyond the Role This position is an opportunity to learn the insurance business from inside a working Farmers agency while developing skills that can open doors to greater responsibility.
