We are seeking a dedicated individual to assist in procedures aimed at analyzing, diagnosing, and treating conditions related to the cardiovascular system.

• Prepare patients for various procedures by reviewing their medical history, positioning them appropriately, and cleaning, shaving, or numbing testing sites as necessary.
• Interpret, describe, and report on test results, identifying any recording errors or artifacts and responding accordingly.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, promptly reporting any abnormal findings in their condition.
• Maintain and prepare equipment, supplies, and the laboratory area to ensure a smooth workflow.
• Ensure all equipment is functioning correctly, reporting any potential issues or malfunctions to the relevant personnel, and locking/tagging out equipment when necessary.
• Contribute to keeping the department clean and organized.
• May conduct point-of-care testing in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Maintain a state of alertness and safety at all times.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Education: Completion of a Cardiovascular or Radiology Technology program is required.
• Experience: No prior experience is necessary.

• Regularly stand and walk throughout the shift.
• Frequent use of vision for both near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) distances.
• Regularly use hearing and speech for effective oral communication.
• Frequently distinguish body sounds and detect alarms or machinery malfunctions through hearing.
• Lift, carry, and push/pull objects weighing up to 25 lbs regularly, with occasional lifting of 25-50 lbs.
• Assist in moving patients as needed.
• Engage in frequent reaching, gripping, and data entry tasks.
• Occasionally bend, stoop, squat, twist, and perform repetitive movements with legs and arms.
• Rarely kneel or sit.

Depending on the state of work location, the following certifications are required:

• Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
• Advanced Life Support (ALS) - American Heart Association (AHA)
• Radiologic Technologists - Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) or Temporary Accreditation
• ARRT-R Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) - Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)

This position is a full-time role with a day shift schedule.
