Office locations include: Reno (NV), Monterey (CA), and Phoenix (AZ).Job OverviewCapital Insurance Group is seeking a candidate to join our Actuarial Division. You will work alongside our creative and entrepreneurial individuals in various cities. We look to partner with a candidate who fits with the CIG culture, excels as a decision enabler, and can effectively collect and communicate results to key stakeholders. Projects assigned will come from multiple actuarial disciplines.RequirementsPursuing or possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, Statistics, or related quantitative subjects.0-2 years of Actuarial experienceCompletion of one or more actuarial exams is required. Two or more exams is preferredExperience using SQL and a comprehensive understanding of relational databases is highly preferredBasic knowledge of R, Python, or other statistical software is highly preferredPredictive modeling experience is preferredProficiency in Microsoft ExcelBasic knowledge with data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, or similar) is a plusSome experience using Visual Basic Applications in Excel is a plusComplies with professionalism standards set by the Casualty Actuarial SocietyCandidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.Career Path potential:Senior Actuarial AnalystSalary Range : $68,678.00 - $114,466.00The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location.
