Are you looking for CNA/HHA/Personal Care Aide work with an established, growing home care registry who truly appreciates you? You've found us! Family Private Care is seeking skilled home care providers to join our family! With many referrals available in the metro Birmingham area, including Gardendale, Bessemer, Hoover, Homewood, Mountain Brook, and more, we would love to have you join a registry that places an emphasis on serving the caregiver, who in turn provides excellent care for their client. Family Private Care has been referring quality, loving caregivers to seniors and persons with a disability for over 20 years! We believe the work of a caregiver is among the most important that could ever be performed, and Family Private Care is committed to treating caregivers with the respect they deserve.

Position Summary:

We are looking for individuals with compassionate hearts and a deep love of seniors & persons with a disability. Successful caregivers possess the following skills:

Excellent caregiver skills in taking vitals, documenting activities, and providing assistance with activities of daily living, including but not limited to bathing, dressing, toileting, ambulating, and transferring.
Willingness to go above and beyond for the client
Willingness to encourage participation in activities
Adherence to all professional standards for professional caregivers

Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Care deeply and passionately for the well-being of seniors and persons with a disability
Caregiving experience of at least two years
CNA, HHA, or similar experience/skills
Must pass a Criminal Background Check
CPR/First Aid certification
TB skin test within 1 year or Chest X-Ray within last 5 years
