Staff Accountant

Looking for a Staff Accountant who wants broader accounting exposure and a role where you can make an impact beyond transactional work. This position is approximately 80% General Accounting / 20% Accounts Payable and offers hands‑on involvement with the general ledger, month‑end close, reconciliations, journal entries, reporting, and audit support. What You’ll Do Prepare and post journal entries Perform balance sheet and income statement reconciliations Support monthly and year-end close Maintain accurate general ledger activity in accordance with IFRS Prepare schedules and documentation for audits Review and reconcile corporate credit card activity Assist with financial and operational reporting Provide backup AP support, including invoice processing, payments, and expense reports Help strengthen accounting processes, procedures, and internal controls Assist with ad hoc accounting and finance projects What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 2+ years of accounting experience preferred Hands‑on general ledger and month‑end close experience Strong Excel skills and experience working with accounting systems Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines Strong communication and organizational skills Nice to Have ERP experience Knowledge of IFRS and internal controls Why Consider It?
