OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Minneapolis, MN by HMD Trucking

Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Run nationwide lanes for HMD Trucking as a solo OTR CDL-A dry van operator based in Minneapolis, MN. You’ll move dry freight on consistent long-haul routes backed by reliable dispatch and a team that values driver safety and success.

Your Responsibilities:

• Operate tractor-trailer safely across interstate routes and meet delivery schedules.
• Perform accurate logkeeping, pre- and post-trip inspections, and maintain required documentation.
• Coordinate with dispatch, report issues promptly, and secure freight during transit.

Qualifications & Compensation:

• Valid CDL-A and at least 12 months verifiable driving experience.
• Starting pay 65 CPM with weekly averages near 2,500 miles plus safety/inspection/referral bonuses.
• Fleet of late-model trucks with APUs, inverters and sleepers, in-house maintenance, biweekly home time, and comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, PTO and 401(k).
