**Required Certifications and Licenses:**- BLS (Basic Life Support)- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy)- TX License (Texas State License)**Experience and Skills:**- 1 year of experience required- Community Hospital Experience: Preferred- Skills: Acute Care, Activities of Daily Living, Biofeedback (not required), Cardiac Rehabilitation, Edema Massage, Electrical Stimulation (not required), Feeding Techniques, TENS (not required), Ultrasound (not required), Arthritis program, Hand Injury, Hip Fracture and Total Hip Replacement, Soft Tissue Injuries, Knee Injuries and Total Knee Replacement, Above knees prosthetics, Below knee prosthetics, Dynamic splints, Functional splints, Orthoplast, Serial/Inhibitory, Static splints, Upper extremity prosthetics, CVA Rehabilitation, Lower Extremity, Spinal cord injury, Upper Extremity**Preferred Experience:**- Travel experience preferred- Altera charting system experience preferred (not required)**Compliance Requirements:**- License in hand required with submittal- Certification verification required- 2 years experience in service line required- Facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, and a positive result is an automatic cancellation- Local Radius Rule: Not Accepted; Allied/CNA: 50 miles**Patient Care:**- Must be able to support inpatient and outpatient settings- Patient Age Groups: Neonates, Infants, Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics**Other:**- Weekend Coverage: 1 shift per monthPlease note that flu vaccine is required (medical/religious exemptions only) and COVID-19 vaccine is not required.
