Pay Rate: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour (Based on Experience)
Schedule: Full-Time | Part-Time Shift | Temporary
Job Overview
A growing moving and logistics company in Elizabeth, NJ is seeking reliable and hardworking Driver Helpers / Movers to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy staying active, working with a team, and helping customers during residential and commercial moves.
No CDL is required. Candidates with moving, warehouse, delivery, furniture assembly, construction, landscaping, or general labor experience are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
Assist drivers with loading and unloading furniture, household goods, and other items
Safely move furniture, appliances, boxes, and equipment in homes, apartments, and businesses
Protect customer belongings during transportation and delivery
Wrap, pack, and secure items for transport
Assist with furniture assembly and placement at delivery locations
Lift and carry heavy items with the assistance of team members
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Provide professional and courteous customer service
Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines
Qualifications
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds regularly and work in a physically demanding environment
Reliable transportation to and from work
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Ability to work well as part of a team
Good communication and customer service skills
Previous moving, warehouse, delivery, construction, landscaping, or general labor experience is a plus, but not required
Must be dependable and punctual
