Medical Science Liaison – Oncology – S. FL & PR Territory What you will do Field‑based position for the Oncology Therapeutic Area Medical Science Liaison (MSL) group. In this vital role you will interact with Oncology healthcare decision‑makers to communicate and advance Amgen's scientific platform and ensure accurate, clear, and valued information reaches multiple levels within the medical community. The MSL may also engage in clinical and pharmacoeconomic value discussions with payers and formulary decision‑makers, provide insights based on field interactions, and support Amgen‑sponsored research. Communicate complex cutting‑edge scientific information and research concepts to healthcare decision‑makers, including academic medical centers. Provide clinical and economic value information to payers and formulary decision‑makers. Identify and train members of Amgen’s speakers’ bureau and ensure they are updated on new data. Respond to investigator‑sponsored research proposals and support Amgen‑sponsored research. Provide insights based on field interactions with healthcare thought leaders to Amgen partners. Provide scientific support, consistent with MSL compliance standards, for commercial, corporate accounts, and other matrix colleagues who may forward HCP inquiries. Cultivate scientific relationships between Amgen and fellows in training. Lead and/or participate on committees or project teams that support MSL strategies and tactics as delegated by MSL leadership. Seek opportunities to support the MSL value proposition, achieve results, and set an example for others to follow. What we expect of you Basic Qualifications: Doctorate degree OR Master’s degree & 3 years of Medical Affairs experience OR Bachelor’s degree & 5 years of Medical Affairs experience. Preferred Qualifications: Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D., or D.O. (other doctoral degrees considered).3+ years of experience in a medically related field, including 1+ year focused on clinical practice, clinical research, or medical research; post‑doctoral training (residencies/fellowships) acceptable. Current experience in Scientific Affairs or Medical Affairs at a biotech or pharmaceutical company and oncology therapeutic‑area expertise. What you can expect from us Competitive salary range: $156,998.40 – $212,409.60 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.
