Controller

Our client, a growing technology company based in New Hampshire, is seeking an experienced Controller to lead its accounting function. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on accounting leader who enjoys working in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment. The role offers flexibility to work remotely, with approximately five days per month in the office. Responsibilities Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting. Manage the general ledger, account reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Lead day‑to‑day accounting operations, including AP, AR, payroll, fixed assets, and cash management. Develop and maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and financial procedures. Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis. Coordinate annual audits and serve as the primary liaison with external auditors and tax advisors. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax and regulatory requirements. Mentor and develop members of the accounting team while driving process improvements and automation initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred. 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including experience as a Controller or Assistant Controller. Technology, SaaS, or high‑growth company experience preferred. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls. Experience leading month‑end close, audits, and financial reporting. Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
