LeafSpring Schools is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Afterschool Teacher to join our team! This position will be 2-6/6:30pm Monday-Friday with opportunities for more hours during school breaks/summer.

Key Responsibilities
Support daily program routines including creative activities, snack, and outdoor play
Supervise and actively participate with children during activities, games, and free play
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized program environment aligned with state licensing regulations
Foster independence, teamwork, and positive peer interactions using positive guidance strategies
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a welcoming, enriching afterschool environment
Qualifications
MUST MEET DRIVING REQUIREMENTS: Over 21, driving for 5 or more years, good driving record
Previous experience working with children in afterschool programs, summer camps, child care, recreation, or youth development
Understanding of child development principles and developmentally appropriate practices (DAP)
Friendly, patient, and enthusiastic about working with young children
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Ability to multitask, follow program structure, and adapt to children’s needs
High school diploma or GED required
