Certified Nurse Assistant

Overview CNA - FT evenings (37.5 hours per week). Travel assignment in Geneva, NY (14456). Duration: 13 weeks starting 05/19/2026. Shift: 8 hours, flexible; evenings (5 × 7.5s). Eligibility: start orientation on Tuesday or Thursday. Full‑time evenings with EOW and holiday coverage required. Responsibilities Meet residents’ ADL needs as outlined in the individual plan of care, including hygiene, grooming, dressing, incontinence/catheter care, toileting, turning/positioning, skin care, etc. Documentation completed per protocol. Maintain residents’ environment and safety per plan of care, including answering call lights and alarms promptly, providing safety mats and low beds, restraint use under direction of Nursing, keeping unit clean, behavior and fall prevention, monitoring equipment, etc. Documentation completed per protocol. Meet residents’ nutritional needs per plan of care, including meal delivery, tray preparation, adaptive equipment, feeding, nourishment, and honoring preferences. Documentation completed per protocol. Support residents’ rehabilitative (restorative and maintenance) needs per plan of care, including range‑of‑motion, ambulation, transfers, proper body alignment, and use of assistive devices. Documentation completed per protocol. Report residents’ rights, refusals, concerns, and changes in physical, emotional or psychosocial status to Charge or Supervising Nurse promptly. Occupational exposure to blood‑borne pathogens is anticipated; tasks may involve contact with blood, body fluids or tissues. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Valid NYS Nursing Assistant certification. Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA or RQI specifically. One year of prior LTC experience in a CNA capacity, licensed for at least one year. Knowledge of and compliance with policies and procedures.
