Registered Nurse (RN) Obstetrics (OB)
Aura Staffing Partners is seeking an experienced Obstetrics Registered Nurse (OB RN) for a contract assignment in St. Francis, Kansas. This is an excellent opportunity for an RN who is passionate about providing exceptional care to mothers and newborns throughout the perinatal journey.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns across the perinatal continuum.
- Practice independently and collaboratively to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being and recognize changes in patient condition.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, postpartum recovery, and newborn care.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote positive patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Previous Obstetrics (OB) nursing experience required
- Current BLS certification
- ACLS and NRP certifications preferred or required per facility
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced OB environment
Benefits
- $70.00 per hour
- Night shift (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)
- Contract assignment from October 5, 2026 January 2, 2027
