4+ years of experience providing desktop support in an enterprise environment\nStrong customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to support executives, end users, and visitors in a fast-paced, high-touch environment\nExperience troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues across Windows and macOS systems\nKnowledge of networking fundamentals including DNS, TCP/IP, SSIDs, and Wi-Fi connectivity\nExperience utilizing a ticketing system to manage incidents and service requests\nAbility to troubleshoot laptops, monitors, docking stations, peripheral devices, and business applications\nExperience supporting user onboarding and offboarding activities, including device provisioning and account setup\nExperience diagnosing and resolving client-side technical issues in person\nBasic understanding of conference room and collaboration technologies\nStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize multiple support requests in a high-volume environment

Job Description

An employer is looking for a Desktop Support Specialist will provide hands-on technical support to employees, executives, and visitors within a fast-paced enterprise environment. This individual will serve as a frontline resource for resolving hardware, software, connectivity, and end-user technology issues while delivering exceptional customer service. Day-to-day responsibilities include troubleshooting Windows and macOS devices, diagnosing Wi-Fi and network connectivity issues, resolving application-related incidents, and supporting monitors, docking stations, and conference room technology. The specialist will also manage device provisioning activities for new hires and departing employees, leveraging established knowledge base documentation and support processes. Additionally, they will utilize a ticketing system, preferably ServiceNow, to document, track, and resolve technical issues while ensuring timely communication and resolution for end users. Success in this role requires strong technical troubleshooting capabilities, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to thrive in a customer-facing environment supporting both employees and executive leadership.
