Sr. Test Automation Engineer

Job Title
Client is a VC-funded SaaS start-up revolutionizing recurring revenue management for businesses of all sizes. Our founding team members came with tremendous experiences and success in building enterprise SaaS products and companies.
Client's SaaS products aim to deliver top-notch user experiences for business users and consumers, including easy-to-use, componentized, fast user interfaces that can be both standalone and embedded in Salesforce, merchants' websites, and other platforms.
Job Requirements
We are looking for curious, energetic rock stars to join our engineering team.
- You will use scenario-driven testing methodology to develop, execute and maintain test cases according to the business scenarios and requirements, diagnose issues, create and verify bugs.
- You will develop and maintain test automation for our APIs and UI on top of industry-standard test frameworks using Java, Python, and integrate the tests into the CICD pipeline.
- You will be extremely attentive to details, and be able to detect data issues in Client's applications that have a strong focus on delivering financial data accuracy.
- You will set up a test data suite that makes test automation a repeatable process.
- You will detect application performance issues (UI and API) and make performance testing a repetitive practice.
- You'll collaborate seamlessly with core products and engineering team members located globally and reliably meet deadlines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related engineering fields.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a Test Automation Engineer in the enterprise SaaS domain; experience with financial SaaS applications is preferred.
- In-depth understanding and hands-on experience of Rest APIs and related technologies and tooling, including but not limited to Curl, Postman, Google Advanced Rest Client.
- In-depth understanding and hands-on experience of UI Test Frameworks, including but not limited to Selenium.
- Hand-on experience using Jira and be able to generate reports and dashboards on Jira.
- Proficiency in two or more programming languages including (but not limited to) Python, Java, shell scripting.
- Experience with the Salesforce platform is preferred.
