Job Description As a Security Officer Alarm Panel Response in Fort Wayne, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and alarm response activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while working independently in a construction-focused environment with limited on-site facilities. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $22.75 / Hour Job Schedule DayTime Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You\'ll Do Provide customer service to clients, contractors, and visitors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols of construction areas, access points, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and unauthorized activity. Monitor access to the location by verifying authorized personnel, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and reporting access concerns according to site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required. Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements. Minimum Requirements Experience with alarm panels is preferred. At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks. Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Loss prevention experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
