Part Time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner - Fee For Service

Job Summary Thriveworks is currently seeking Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners in Johnson City, Tennessee. Compensation This is a Fee for Service (W2) position. Salary range is $61,000–$89,000 per year based on 15–20 clinical hours per week. Pharmacological treatment: Thriveworks does not push or incentivize the use of stimulant medications; stimulant options are available based on client symptoms and diagnosis, and prescribing decisions are left to the discretion of the clinician. Substance use disorders are not currently treated; referrals are made to in‑person providers if symptoms are too severe for telemedicine. Qualifications Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner; Board Certification required. Master’s in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in the state. Understanding of AdvancedMD (AMD) EMR is a plus. Three years of experience is a plus; one year of psychiatry practice is required. Must be licensed and reside in Tennessee. Part‑time requires 15–20 hours availability per week. Responsibilities Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations of clients via in‑person and telemedicine. Treat clients aged 14 and up. Prescribe medication to reduce mental health symptoms, as needed. Create and collaborate with clients on care plans. Complete and administer appropriate paperwork and assessment tools. Adhere to Thriveworks’ Clinical Practice Guidelines. Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff on clients, programs, and services. Attend in‑person collaborator meetings at Thriveworks locations as required. Benefits Partially remote with limited visits for collaborator meetings. Remote medical assistants.
