Security Guard

The JBS Pork team is seeking a Security Guard. Supervisory Responsibilities: Some Duties/Responsibilities include verifying all visitors entering the facility, auditing in facility parking lots, maintaining logs for inbound and outbound trucks, and performing other duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities include excellent computer skills, attention to detail, excellent people skills, great work ethic, ability to work in a high stress environment, great communication skills – written and verbal, self-motivated & team player, good attendance record, ability to work 12 HR shifts, ability to work in all weather conditions, ability to pass a background check, valid driver's license, and ability to multitask. Education, Experience, Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, bilingual (plus but not required), computer skills and knowledge, and the ability to perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. Physical Requirements include desk work, lifting, and climbing stairs. The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits: salary range of $14.32/hour min- $16.11/hour mid, health, dental, vision coverage begins after 60 days of employment, paid time off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays, 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule, career development, short term disability, long term disability, JBS/Memorial Hospital Partnership, on-site bank, on-site cafeteria, employee assistance program, and discounted meat sales.
