Job Details

• Position: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Nurse
• Location: Healthcare facility (specific site not disclosed)
• Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS, NIHSS
• Education & Experience: 1 year of experience in Progressive Care Unit and telemetry experience; no minimum years of experience required beyond that
• Schedule: Nights shift (7 p.m. to 7 a.m.), 36 hours per week, with weekend rotation every other weekend
• Clinical Responsibilities: Care for patients with conditions including CHF, stroke, sepsis, cardiac dysrhythmias, pneumonia, and observation status; may involve contact with COVID patients and surging inpatient units
• Float: First to float if census drops to Medical, Surgical, Observation Unit
• Floor Orientation: 3 days
• Scrubs: Navy blue pants and solid navy-blue tops or solid white (matching jackets), with long sleeve shirts under scrubs navy or white
• Additional Requirements: Epic access is required
