About the Role The Florida Civil / Municipal Growth Leader will set the vision, drive strategic growth, and represent SEH as a trusted partner to municipalities throughout the state. The role requires a proven municipal civil engineering leader to guide and grow our Florida practice, building on an established team that serves communities across the Florida Panhandle and beyond. Responsibilities Shape and execute growth strategy by identifying target markets, priority audiences, and scalable growth opportunities. Build talented teams and client portfolios by leveraging firmwide resources across markets to drive growth strategies. Own and direct multi‑practice projects, setting strategic direction and ensuring seamless execution across regions. Essential Qualifications Demonstrated leadership in setting and executing market strategy, aligning project delivery and business development to drive sustained, profitable growth. Expert at orchestrating cross‑disciplinary teams to deliver complex projects efficiently and at scale. Trusted partner to senior internal leaders, shaping growth strategies and evaluating high‑impact market opportunities. Deep, established executive network across Florida, with strong market presence and influence. Proven record of winning, expanding, and retaining client relationships. Motivated by ownership and long‑term impact, ready to join SEH as an employee‑owner with direct accountability for success, growth, and legacy. Registered as a Professional Engineer in the state of Florida. Preferred Qualifications Fifteen years of experience leading market or regional growth strategies, with accountability for business development, client expansion, and delivery performance. Demonstrated success overseeing complex, multidisciplinary project portfolios, balancing strategic vision with operational execution. Ability to influence and collaborate at the executive level, partnering with internal leaders to shape investment priorities and long‑term growth plans. Prior experience in, or strong alignment with, an employee‑owned organization, embracing shared accountability for growth, profitability, and legacy. Compensation Base compensation is expected to be in the range of $140,000 to $180,000 based on skill set and experience.
