Salary Expected salary range for this position is between Postdoc Level 0 and Level 2 ($69,073-74,281). The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. Position Overview The Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University of California, Irvine invites highly motivated applicants for a postdoctoral scholar position in the Wang lab. The scholar will develop and investigate biomaterials for vaccine delivery to improve immune responses toward infectious viruses. Responsibilities Recombinant protein expression and purification Nanomaterials synthesis and characterization Polymers formulation and characterization In vitro and in vivo immunological approaches, particularly methods to examine antibodies, B‑cell development, and T‑cell responses after immunization Qualifications Ph.D. in chemical engineering, materials science, biomedical engineering, immunology, or another relevant field.
