Role Description The Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role located in Fort Wayne, IN and reports directly to the Senior Project Manager. This position oversees telecommunications projects from planning through completion, including scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination with internal teams and external clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing project timelines and budgets, monitoring progress in the field, reviewing installations for compliance with specifications, and ensuring adherence to safety and industry standards. The Project Manager will also handle procurement and expediting of materials, manage logistics related to equipment and site readiness, and communicate regularly with field, clients, and office staff to provide updates and address issues. The role requires proactive problem-solving, clear documentation, and collaborative leadership to deliver projects efficiently and effectively. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, and overseeing multiple projects. Candidates should possess skills to manage material orders, delivery timelines, and vendor coordination. Candidates should possess skills to verify installation quality, and adherence to project specifications. Candidates should possess skills to ensure site readiness, and coordination of field activities. Experience in telecommunications and low-voltage systems is a must. Effective communication and team collaboration abilities are required. Strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting are important. A relevant associate or bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent project management experience is preferred. Excellent organizational skills and a professional demeanor.
