Registered Nurse (RN)

Status: Non-Exempt Department: Clinical Support Staff Schedule: Day shift + rotating on-call Location: Unalaska, AK (Relocation Required)

Role Summary

Provide professional nursing care to patients of all ages, including after-hours urgent and emergent needs. Work independently, think critically, and deliver excellent customer service in a rural medical setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, triage, and care for patients across the lifespan
• Develop and implement patient care plans
• Administer medications & therapeutic measures
• Assist with emergency/urgent care procedures
• Maintain aseptic technique and safe environments
• Perform dispensary duties
• Document all nursing interventions accurately
• Participate in trainings, meetings & community events
• Support clinic operations (cleaning, stocking, equipment care)

Required Skills & Knowledge

Strong clinical assessment & triage skills Ability to respond to urgent and after-hours calls Knowledge of medications, medical equipment & care procedures Excellent communication & teamwork abilities Ability to obtain IV/IO access

Licenses & Certifications

Alaska RN License (or ability to obtain within 90 days) BLS Required ACLS, PALS & TNCC Required within 6 months of hire

Education & Experience

Accredited Nursing Program (BSN, Diploma, or ADN) 2 Year nursing experience Required ER/Critical Care Preferred
